The production of plant protection products started in 1941 in the company MOSTER.
Since 1978. the company was organized as a working organization within the Chenical processing plant of group of companies CHROMOS under the name of Working organisation CHROMOS PLANT PROTECTION.
The company has been privatized since 1993. and its activity has been under the name of CHROMOS AGRO d.d.

CHROMOS AGRO d.d. produces pesticides which secure protection from almost all known pests, weeds and deseases for many plant varieties. The company's capacities exceed 25000 t per year. About 90 active matters are produced in four manufacturing plants in seven formulations and the manufacturing programme contains about 150 finished products.

The company has a close business relationship with the major world manufactorers (Syngenta, BASF, DowAgroSciences, SUMITOMO etc.) guaranting a world level of products.

All the preparations meet strict international quality regulations and are exported as well.
Packing of products is adjusted to agriculture from 0.1 to 200 liters and from 100 g to 500 kilos.
During 1994 the DODIN technological synthesis has been put into operations, previously that the one of KUNILENT repellent and CHROMOTOX CARTRIDGES during 1995.
